Clone Commando Sev Helmet Chibi Style
Lets get right into it
The first thing I worked on was getting an outline of the helmet, I wanted the outline strokes to be bigger to help make detailing and shading more simple down the line.
I went further into detailing the helmet, the clone commando Sev has some bloody textures on the helmet so I gave some outlines using cross references.
Now I added a color texture to the helmet, I spent a good amount of time looking at the linework within the helmet that all the outlines were the way I wanted them.
For this part I spent some time looking at the Visor of the Helmet, I went with a black, grey gradient to show some sort of reflection.
I continued to go into detail with the blood texture, this is where I would hit bumps, such as shaping and shading the layer.
Now I spent time working the helmet outlines again to get it ready for shading detail.
I started to think about how I could deal with the blood texture and make it easier on myself.
Here I spent some time re-vamping the blood texture, I did an overhaul on the side details as I thought it needed some kind of attachment. I kept the thought of keeping it simple as I went through this process.
Now I added shading to the lower part of the visor from here I felt confident taking it to photoshop for some editing.
Final Product
And there you have it, a chibi Clone Commander Sev helmet.
